His antennae twitched as footsteps pounded against hard metal floors. The echo of the footsteps circled around him, making it almost impossible to know how close the footsteps were. He looked down at his claws with angry violet eyes, huddling into the corner of the stone hard bed that was complete with a thin sheet and an oddly soft pillow. His antennae twitched again when the footsteps stopped, but the echo continued on, only to fade away. Suddenly, the only light that made the room visible shone through a small cracked window from the thick metal door was cut off by a figure that stood in the way.

Those angry purple eyes only glanced up at the figure and a low growl rumbled in his throat, but he held it back. That growl burned his throat when it was not able to escape, but he ignored that.  There was a loud click, then another, then another hefty click. The clicks echoed through the tight space that the eyes called home, but the figure never moved. The eyes widened a bit and the growl that burned his throat instantly stopped. The antennae that belonged to the eyes perked. Finally, the big thick metal door slid to the side with a rusty creak that pierced any ear or antennae that was nearby.

Bright white light flooded the prison cell, it being only a small passage way with three main walls making a tight rectangle. The walls were close together, but far enough for easy moving space and for those who are claustrophobic to not go completely insane. The three walls, including the door, consisted of scratches, tally marks, stories and writing, and some dry blood.

The bed that was in the far left corner of the corridor was bolted to the wall, one leg holding up the corner of the bed that wasn't connecting to a wall. The bed was completely metal, besides the thin mattress, sheet, and pillow. Rust, dirt, dust and some blood lined the scratchy metal. The same goes with the small rectangular table that sat across from the bed, which was also bolted to the wall and held by one leg.

The figure did not move, nor did the eyes. Instead, the sudden light that filled the room caused the isolated Irken to hiss, and huddle more into the corner, lifting up a black and grey striped sleeve and a glove to shade off any light that burned into his poor sensitive eyes. His pupils' attempted to dilate, blinking some.

The figure was still dark, a shadow, considering the bright light was directly behind and somewhat above him, and he only shifted a bit, but the figure's eyes glowed an astonishing crimson red. It was obvious that he was an Irken Guard because of the shape of a typical Irken Guard uniform, along with the long shock stick, which was a figure as well.

Finally, the guard moved and tipped the shock stick towards him. "7-7-7, someo- . . . err . . . thing is here to visit you." The soldier hesitated before saying someone, realizing the thing that wanted to visit him was not a someone, but a something. "The name's LUK, not 7-7-7!" the owner of the eyes spat back. He sat up and blinked, letting his eyes adjust to the sudden light a bit more. Luk crossed his legs and leaned back against his hands on the stone-hard bed.

He yawned, and bared his teeth, exchanging to leaning on one hand to rub his eye. While Luk was rubbing his eye, he glared up at the guard with the other, "And what do you mean by . . . something?"  Luk had a purple Invader uniform on, but the sleeves and collar were black and the long sleeves were striped horizontally, claiming the color black and grey. His purple uniform seemed tight but slightly baggy at the end of the shirt, overlapping his black tight pants. His regular Irken boots over lapped them as well. Luk's gloves were like any other Irken gloves, but with no fingers so it let his three dark green fingers show.

The guard's eyes gleamed as he tilted his head slightly forward and replied, "You'll have to see for yourself. The Warden will be there." Luk sat up off his one hand and stopped rubbing his eye. He glared even harder before uncrossing his legs and swinging them over the side of the bed. "Fine," He said as he got up and stretched, yawning, showing off his sharp pink-ish teeth and a black tongue.

Closing his mouth and smacking his lips a bit, he slumped over to the guard, but stopped a few feet away. Luk looked up at him with tired eyes. He suddenly jerked up his wrists and held them together, bowing his head and expecting to be cuffed. The guard chuckled and shook his head, "Not this time."  Luk's eyes widened a bit as he slowly put his wrists down and tilting his head up. The guard moved aside to let Luk pass, which he did, slouching still.

The guard slammed the heavy metal door shut behind him, and turned glancing at Luk. Luk had his back to him, facing down the completely white and narrow hallway, and straight at the other heavy metal door that sat at the end of the passage. The Guard, who was named Helimutern, jabbed Luk with the turned off shock stick right below the PAK.

Though it was turned off, the pointed ends still seem to dig into Luk's skin a bit. As Helimutern jabbed him, he began to order directions, "Walk. And stand tall; I believe this is a big day for you." He snickered as Luk did as he was told, and rolled his eyes. "Sure. . ." They finally reached the end of the short corridor, to the big metal door that blocked the way of freedom from Luk's cell.

Helimutern pushed passed Luk, and stood in front of the heavy door. The door looked nothing like a door, just a huge thick metal block that disappeared into the walls. Except there was a small hole drilled into the door on the left side. The hole was the size of an American quarter. Though it was not drilled all the way through the thick door, it still looked about half way through, and just a simple hole.

Helimaturn grabbed the key ring that was attached to his dark purple utility belt, and Luk eyed it with longing. 50 or so keys were attached to the belt, and they all jingled together to make a random melody. He searched through the keys and finally stopped at one, grabbing the key and letting go of the ring, letting that single key hold the weight of the other keys. The keys that weren't picked all fell towards the bottom of the ring, making another random tune.

The key Helimaturn grabbed looked nothing like a key. The end, of course, had a small hole so that it could attach to the key ring but it continued on, taking the shape of a thick cylinder and ended in a round curve. He stuck the key into the key hole, and twisted it towards the right. There were multiple loud clanks, making Luk realize that the door was unlocking. He stopped looking at his reflective self on the silver door and then at the lock just over Helimaturn's shoulder. The key itself was a bit smaller than the lock but fit perfectly, and in-between the cracks of the door and the key, it blazed a neon aqua blue. Finally, the door slowly moved to the side, revealing another blinding white wall, but there were two other hallways that stretched left and right. Helimaturn again, stepped aside and let Luk walk pass. As he walked passed, Helimaturn spoke," Go right." Luk nods and does exactly what he was told, and began to walk right. The corridor was again, a striking white. So striking he had to blink several times to adjust his eyes some more. There was another screechy slam indicating the metal door shut.

Luk strutted down the passage, his senses obviously telling him the guard was right on his heels. As the passageway ended, once again there were two other hallways to go down. The one that went to the right was just as white, and ended at a door that clearly stated 'Warden's Office'. This door was just a regular door, no windows but nothing too special. The hallway to the left, though, was dark and eerie. The white paint was more scrapped off the farther down you went to reveal scratched and stained metal. The lights on the ceiling were either burned out, broken, or fighting to stay lit.

All the broken one's covers were gone, and some of the cracked and broken light bulbs dangled from a simple wire. The metal walls showed off scratches and blood of different colors, and different species, clear signs of struggle. The dull metal floor was in the same state as the walls, but with more blood stains. The door contained more of the abuse. The door was like the Warden's door, just something simple with no windows, but all the white paint was scrapped off and any paint that did show was covered by blood. The bottom of the door and the floor that stretched out from the bottom contained splattered stains of different colors of blood, the ceiling less so.

Luk winced and turned to make his way down to the Warden's office, but the guard gripped his shoulder and laughed," Other way." He froze, and turned to look at the beaten door. He winced once again and looked up at the guard with hopeful eyes. "Are you sure?" Helimaturn nodded, "Yes, now go on." He jabbed Luk's arm with the shock stick and glared. Luk glared back and continued down the hall.

His claws twitched, not sure if he was feeling scared or not. Definitely cautious, though. He dodged a low hanging light bulb, and continued down, looking at the floor and the blood and scratches. He stopped suddenly and looked up at the battered door. The guard pushed past Luk and squeezed the rusty handle that looked as if it would fall off because of the red rust that covered it. But, the guard successfully swung the door open with an ear-piercing screech. Luk winced at the noise, but looked inside the room, expecting great horrors.

That was not the case. The room was the regular gleaming white, but the room smelled of fresh paint. In the middle of the room was a floating TV-like object. The TV had, of course, a screen but a CD Player-like object attached underneath it, and then a floating device underneath that. A wire was also attached to the back of it, but it curled around the TV so that the end of the wire was beside the TV screen.

At the end of the wire was a box, and atop the box was a red button that clearly pronounced, 'ACCEPT' in bright white letters. There were two other Irken Guards standing on either side of the TV, their facial expressions emotionless. But, Luk couldn't keep his eyes off of the TV. He slowly approached it with wide eyes and an awe expression. His mouth was slightly open with shock and as he walked slowly into the room, his idea of what it is was dawned on him.

When he was fully inside the small room, the door slammed, making him whip of his trance and turn sharply to stare at the door. But the Warden, Mr. Illupilian, was blocking the way. Mr. Illupilian was a shorter Irken, and looked more like an Invader rather than a Warden. The Warden had an abnormally large head, and a stout body. His antennae were abnormally small as well, and he had the original red eyes. Mr. Illupilian usually wore the original Invader Uniform because of comfortable reasons, but also wears a Purple robe over the uniform.

Mr. Illupilian was so short that if you compared him to Luk he would be just up to Luk's lower stomach, if the Warden's antennae were standing up right. Luk looked down at Mr. Illupilian with sad eyes and sighed, and then turned back to the TV. It flickered on, and a neon green pixelated face appeared. Its face consisted of two long rectangles for eyes, and one roughly curved smile. It smiled at him and giggled. Suddenly, out of the CD player came a piece of paper. It started to float to the ground, but Luk quickly snatched the paper out of midair. He glanced over his shoulder at the Warden, who nodded his big head, and then turned to the TV screen which giggled. Luk looked down at the letter and began to read in his head, all the while the TV, properly named a Message Droid, began to read the letter.

It Read:
"CONGRATULATIONS! You are one of just a few selected people who have been given the honor to participate in a little 'game'. Do you want the riches, the status, the FAME of being a WINNER? Then come and join us! Become a hero or a villain; open yourself up to being watched by billions of people. Become a celebrity. All you have to do is hit ACCEPT once you are ready. No need for a ship, no need to travel, no worries at all.  Go ahead. Push the button."

Once he was done, he looked up to see that the red button was flashing. He looked behind him at the Warden and opened his mouth to explain, but the Warden cut him off with a flick of the wrist. Suddenly, Luk realized that there was another solider standing a few feet aside from the Warden. In his hand was a black backpack. The guard nonchalantly tossed the backpack his way, and Luk caught it eagerly. He was about to unzip it, but Mr. Illupilian again cut him off with a tilt of the head. Luk pierced his lips and looked down at the Warden, grabbing the holding handle with both claws and slowly lowering it away from his chest, finally letting it dangle loosely from his claws.

The Warden spoke," The Message Droid has been here since yesterday. Last night, while you slept, I granted you your PAK legs and gave back your previous weapons, and some new ones. Like your twin scythes? Since you know just about EVERYTHING," The Warden rolled his eyes," I'm sure you'll find the weapons to your liking. I also provided you a . . . a cooler for food. Just in case. Honestly, I don't want to see you go out without a fight." His eyes glimmered.

Luk's wide eyes turned into a slight glare. He bared his teeth slightly as he spoke, "You mean entering me into BloodSport? Just so billions of people can watch me die? And just so I can kill innocent people? You know, Mr. Illupilian, that's nice of you to offer but I think I'll pass." Sarcasm dripped off of his words, but the Warden never flinched. Instead his eyes gleamed and a devious smirk spread across his face.

He narrowed his eyes at Luk, but the smirk stayed. "Don't jump to conclusions; I haven't got to the good part. Not only do you get fame, fortune, and freedom from this terrible prison, but from Irk itself." Luk snarled, "So what?" Mr. Illupilian laughed and spoke in-between chuckles, "You just don't get it, do you? You can go find your sister. What was her name? Lyra?"

Luk's glaring eyes suddenly snapped wide open. His mouth seemed to drop open as well, but only by just a bit. He gripped the backpack handle and gritted his teeth as well. His wide eyes turned into a glare, glaring down at his black combat boots. "Lia", he growled in-between teeth.

The Warden smiled widely and tilted his head back; crossing his arms, realizing that he had Luk torn. Luk glared back up at Mr. Illupilian and growled, "Do I have everything I need?" The Warden smirked and nodded. Luk felt defeated as he turned back to the giggling Message Droid and, squeezing his eyes shut, finally pressed the flashing button.

----

Luk found himself in total darkness. He blinked and tried to adjust his eyes to the sudden dark but he was still blind. He sighed heavily and closed his eyes, giving all his attention to one of his senses: hearing. Luk twitched his antennae and focused on the sounds around him.

Each antenna flicked when a drop of water, or some type of liquid, splashed to the ground, which was all the time. Luk opened his eyes to focus them a bit more and made a mental note that he was in a cave. He blinked his eyes once more and realized that his eyes have adjusted enough so that he can examine his surroundings.

It was just like inside any old cave, the floor was flat but the walls curved up and meet to make a ceiling and all surfaces were rather bumpy and slick. But, from the floor and the ceiling were jagged rocks pointing upwards and downwards. Though the ceiling has a rock in every space possible, the floor does not. The rocks are scarcer around the middle of the floor, and in the middle of the floor trickled some water, the water making a tiny trench so that it can run through easier, of course because of erosion. The cave leaded two places, left and right, and each slipped into total darkness.

Water dripped off of the ceilings and ceiling rocks, which made the floor slick and the floor rocks even more jagged and deformed. Each and every surface was either gray or black, and to be gulped by pitch black shadows. Although everything was grey, the water trickles shined purple because of the light that came from Luk's lit PAK and his eyes. Luk was standing only around 3 feet away from the small river.

He huffed and glared at his slight dark surroundings. His antennae perked as he suddenly remembered the backpack in his claws. He dropped to his knees, getting his boot tip and pants wet, and took off the backpack that was set on his shoulders, unzipping the backpack frantically searching through the biggest pocket. He finally pulled out one of his twin scythes, letting out a content sigh.

He carefully balanced the scythe in both hands and a low purr rumbled in his throat as he whispered, "My Tallest, I haven't seen you in a while. I've missed you." He suddenly looked up with a concerned face and slowly stood up off his knees. He gripped the handle tight but dropped his arm so that it was straight, the blade reaching the ground. He glared and darted his eyes, flattening his antennae on the back of his head.

"Hmmmm . . . I. . . I think. . ." His eyes darted wildly as he gripped the handle harder. There was a sudden roar that came from behind Luk. The Irken turned swiftly on his combat boot heel and gripped the scythe handle with both hands and swung to his left, all the while shutting his eyes tight. There was another roar, but this one sounded sorrowful after the sound of a blade slicing the air.

But that's not what caused Luk to open his eye, it was the sound of another type of dripping, but this drip sounded as though the liquid was thicker than the usual water that was in a cave. He opened his eyes and blinked; looking down at the blade he held in his hand but was set on the ground.

The blade consisted up a purple substance, which dripped off the part of the blade that wasn't resting on the ground into a purple puddle. Then, sudden distressful cries caused Luk to turn his head and look behind him. What he saw didn't seem to amaze him. Behind him was the monster that attempted to kill him just moments ago. The monster was a pearly white. It had a long wormy body, its ribs and backbone clearly shone and it seemed in a slouch.

Its short front legs and unbelievably long claws scratched at the slick stone floor, and its bent back legs did the same as well. Its long thick tail lashed at the hard ground, pounding hard. The fur that ran along the end made a loud swishing sound as well, also making the struggling noises louder and more distressed. The beast looked more ferocious than how it looked before because of its severed head that wriggled next to the squirmy body.

Its teeth were bared and vicious snarls escaped its throat. It's lips were pulled back farther than anyone could think possible to show off gums and teeth, but the wrinkles from the tight pull caused it to look like it was squinting, but really the wrinkles were making up the lack of eye balls and sockets. The gill fluff that lined its jaw line and forehead fluttered, again showing signs of distress.

Its long silvery tongue hung out the side of its mouth, purple blood oozing out from its mouth and making another puddle. The severed parts of the neck were clean and cut, the bone and some veins were clearly shown, aside from the dark purple blood that oozed out along with the mouth.

Luk stared at the struggling creature, and the small growls and snarls that came from its bared teeth. Under close inspection, he instantly recognized the creature. He smiled and gripped his Scythe's handle, picking it up and hugging the handle close to his chest, looking down at the struggling creature proudly, but careful not to get the purple liquid on himself. Luk's eyes lit up and he smiled, letting out a squeal of joy. "Oh, wow! A Substantial Olm! In all my years of living, I never thought I would see the day to actually experience one- Let alone kill one!"

He slowly set the Scythe down as he kneeled besides the snarling but useless head. He leaned in to inspect the creature and purred. "I've heard so many wonderful things about you, my dear! Mostly about your taste, but don't worry love, I'll put you out of your misery." He smiled and squealed playfully, looking behind him, and locating the backpack he set off to the side.

Luk instantly pounced on the pack and opened the biggest pocked that held all his knives. He instantly dug through the pocket and then finally got out a long, sharp butcher knife. Luk blinked and examined it, twirling the knife and flipping it over in his hands. The foot long blade glimmered with the light coming from Luk's PAK that made it slightly purple. He got up off his knees, his eyes still on the knife, and turned on a heal slowly approaching the screaming Olm.

Luk was still staring at his reflection in the knife as he mumbled softly towards the Olm, "Shhhh. It's almost over, love, it's almost over." And with that said he pulled away from the gaze of the knife and flicked his wrist, letting the sharp blade fling through the air and finally stick its self on the top of the Olm's head. The beast screamed with rage and Luk blinked and mumbled, "Wow, you have a thicker skull than I thought." He screwed his face up with dissatisfaction and kneeled down, grabbing the knife handle so he can get the blade out. The monster screamed harder, the dissembled body scratching hard at the floor. Luk finally stabbed the monster one last time in the same spot. The Irken smiled with satisfaction as a loud crunch echoed through the cave and the last sorrowful call from the Olm rang out.

He watched as the squirmy body slowly came to a halt with the Olm's last breath. "Hmm. It's a wonder how an Olm can still feel pain, even if its head isn't attached to its body anymore. I mean, I know that if your head is cut of that your awake for 10 seconds more, but not this long. Odd." Luk wondered out loud. He stood up and glanced around the cave with curiosity. "And since I met up with a Substantial Olm, I must be farther underground than I thought. Now all I have to do is travel upwards . . . But which ways up?" He glanced both left and right and sighed deeply, hanging his head. Then, there was a sudden humming noise.

Luk jumped and instantly reached for the butcher knife that was still stuck in the Olm's head and sitting upright, ready for reach. Luk grabbed the slightly bloody handle and pulled a moist gooey pop sounding as he pulled the blade out from the head. Luk swung the blade and darted his eyes furiously. A giggle made him jump, and then a voice, "Silly, I'm up here! I'm a Camera Bot to capture your actions! I mean no harm, just to watch you and... Possibly keep you company?"

Luk looked up to see a sphere-like object. It was a dull gray sphere, of course, but completely smooth on the backside but black vertical Irken writing appeared on the back as well. On the front was a circle like piece that was attached to the sphere, cutting it short. On the circular piece was a small red knob the symbolized volume. The circular piece was also grey and held up glass that was currently black. The glass curved slightly inwards of the sphere. Attached to the sphere were two black mechanical arms that just looked like wires, but were bent to where the arms were pressed against its body. At the end of the wires was a small neon green ball and at the end of that was a long hand-like spike.

But, on the black glass was a pixelated face that reminded him fondly of the Message Droid that sent him here. But, the face was cuter and a little more detailed because of the eye shine and a little thicker. Also another defining feature was that the face was actually eyes and eyebrows, no mouth. The neon green from the eyes and "arm ball" gave off a green glow on the black glass and the grey ring and spike, as well as arm. The bot had a shy facial expression, and its claws were held under its eyes, like hiding its mouth. It seemed to hover all on its own.

The fierce expression on Luk's face slowly turned soft as he lowered his weapon. "Oh. Uh . . . Hi, I'm Luk. What's your name?" The bot just blinked at the Irken. Luk sighed, "Do you even have a name?" The Bot, again, blinked at him and hesitated. It finally let out a small squeak, symbolizing a no. The corner of Luk's mouth slowly rose. He laughed, "Shall I give you a name?" Again, the robot gave out a small shy squeak to symbolize a yes. Luk nodded and squinted his eyes, and his smile faded giving off a serious look. "Well, your back says Camera-Bot" The bot turned slightly and attempted to peer at his back, which turned to a fail. Luk rub his chin and scrunched up is face in thought. "How . . . About. . ." Luk's face lit up, "Cam?" The bot, now known as Cam, closed his eyes and squealed with delight, its claws quivering.

Luk nodded and smiled with satisfaction," Alright, now that's out of the way, do you know which way is up?" Cam again hesitated before shrugging nonchalantly. The Irken sighed deeply and heaved the Scythe up off the cave floor, the blade scraping against the rock causing some sparks and more light as well as a piercing sound. Luk didn't flinch. He turned towards his backpack, which the front pocket was open, and kicked it letting the pocket become more open. He instantly licked the scythe's blood, getting as much blood off as his long, black tongue allowed. Both tongue and blade glimmered in the little light that was given off by Luk's PAK and eyes and Cam's glowing parts. He set that in the backpack, and stuck his tongue out to lick off the blood and some brain matter that stuck to the Butcher Knife.

But, he stopped inches away from the blood and glanced over at the dead Olm. His tongue hung out, making him look like a complete idiot but he did have a brilliant idea. Cam noticed this and immediately asked, "Whatcha' thinkin?" Luk's eyes only flickered towards Cam before going back to the dead salamander. "Food." And with that, he sucked his tongue back into his mouth and walked over to the dead body that lay next to the head, and kneeled. He examined the body, noting that the pearly white started to turn into a slight pearly purple and purple veins began to pop and show as well.

He flinched and turned, still kneeling, and reached grabbing the backpack. Still turned, he unzipped the bottom pocket and instantly grabbed something blue. It was about the size of a small box. Luk opened the lid of the blue container and pressed a small purple button that lay on the bottom of the lid. Luk set the box down on the ground and turned towards the dead creature butcher knife at the ready.

As the Irken began to sink the knife into the Olm's flesh and saw, the blue container slowly grew to the size of a treasure chest, the lid still open. Though the container was blue and wrinkled on the outside, the inside of the box was silvery and smooth, almost like tin foil. As the box grew, Cam blinked and then grew wide eyes. "Ooooo… Wassat?" Luk tossed a hunk of purple pearly meat into the Box. He winced and turned back to the dead monster. "A cooler."

The bot blinked and simply shrugged it off. Finally, after filling the blue cooler with purple meat, Luk pressed the purple button the sat below the lid and shivered, closing the lid and scrunching up his face. "Nasty." He stood up and grabbed the backpack that sat on the cold stone floor of the cave. Before setting the knife back into the backpack, he licked the blade slowly and finally licked it clean and then set it back into the backpack. He also picked up the cooler and set it carefully in the pocket as well. After zipping it, and careful not to get blood on it, he threw it back down and licked the purple substance off of his fingers.

After he got all the blood off of himself, he quickly grabbed the backpack and shrugged it onto his shoulders. He glanced at the mangled body and then at the blood that stained the floor and, unfortunately, his boots. He let out a sigh and glanced over his shoulder at the floating Camera-Bot. "Do you know a way out?" Cam just blinked, "No. . . I was told to just watch you and then suddenly I was here. Unfortunately, I cannot provide you any physical help during battle, or any time for that matter. I'm not sure about any mental help.

I could try to give you information about the planet we're on and the location but I'm not sure if that information is downloaded into or in my system. I could try, if you would like?" Look turned and stared at the dark tunnel that lay ahead of him. He turned around and stared at the other dark tunnel, no sign of light anywhere other than the glow of his eyes and PAK as well as Cam's eyes and arms. He sighed and mumbled, "Hopefully I don't get disqualified for asking, or even suggesting, but I guess so. Could you?" Luk looked up at the Bot with hopeful eyes. Cam nodded and closed his eyes and clasped his metallic claws together, as if thinking.

He opened his eyes again and began to talk," We are on a Planet named Nahara. It has one sun and four moons. The moons contain the colors of white, pale red, gold, and some type of blue. The basic Surface Area is 600,000,000km. Nahara contains 6 continents, four being major and the other two being minor. We are, at this time, on one of the minor Continents. Name unknown. Surface Area unknown. We're in the cavern part of this continent, also known as the underground. Unable to recognize surface area. I am not able to navigate up and out." Cam blinked again and looked down at Luk.

Luk blinked at the information, but growled, "Could you at least make an educated guess for the way out?" The camera-bot hesitated, "Um. . . Possibly towards any major water source?  I can't tell where though, I am unable to navigate at the moment." Luk nodded and closed his eyes and bowed his head, all the while mumbling, "I'll try then." He twitched his antennae and attempted to tune out any sound nearby. But, as much as he tried, drips of nearby water got him off course.

He growled and tried harder, but only got to the point of hearing faint rushing water coming from the left. He snapped open his eyes and looked towards his left. "I heard water that way, I'm not positive though. Should we try?" He looked at Cam for an answer. Cam just nodded. Luk puffed out his cheeks and slowly released the air he was holding. Afterwards he just slightly nodded and gripped the straps of the backpack, rolling his shoulders to secure it. "Okay. Let's go." As he began to walk, his heavy footsteps echoed throughout the cavern. As they continued on darkness swallowed them up, the only light that was visible was the purple and green light given off by the two. They, truthfully, had no idea where they were going and what to expect.

As they continued on in silence, they finally came to an opening. The walls were at least 100 feet tall; a raging river of H20 ran through the middle of it all, a waterfall being the main source of the underground river. The waterfall fell from a huge half circle hole that was punctured in the middle of the wall. Its ends were oddly smooth, and so was the wall behind the waterfall.

There was no jagged rocks that hung from the ceiling or from the ground, but little and large dents replaced the lack of rocks. The sound of rushing water was louder than it would have been because of the walls of the cave that bounced the white noise from place to place, creating an echo which turns into a louder noise. But the marvelous sparkling of the h20 wasn't the thing that caused Luk and Cam to gasp and stare with wide eyes; it was the light source and the sparkles in the raging river.

Random strings of neon blue light laced and lined the ceiling of the opening, and the tunnel the waterfall came from. Some of the light the laced the strings fell into the water, making the water slightly neon blue. The laces seemed endless. It covered the ceiling and some of the walls and shimmered with such grace. The lights that fell somehow resembled falling stars and covered the air. That light that fell into the water gave off a stronger glow, making the H20 almost completely blue.

As the two stared in awe, Cam suddenly asked, "What is it?" Luk chuckled and shook his head," Amazingly beautiful isn't it? I didn't know Nahara would have any Silkworms." Cam blinked, "Silkworms?" Luk slowly nodded," Yeah, I don't know too much about the creatures but I know enough. They make silk, obviously, but the blue light is actually they're shit." Cam reeled back in disgust and horror. Luk snickered at Cam's expression and glanced at the walls that were somewhat lined with the light.

He suddenly realized the small ledge that lined the wall behind them, next to the opening that they came from. The ledge lined the wall and followed up, and finally stopped at the very edge of the hole in the wall, showing easy access to the floor that lined the river that turns into a waterfall.

Luk smiled at the fact that the ledge was just big enough for him to climb. He glanced at Cam," I'm going to climb that ledge. Can you just float beside me and, possibly, catch me if I fall? You look strong enough." Cam smiled and nodded.

Luk glanced at the ledge and walked over to it. It started up from the ground, of course, and it seemed steeper than it was from farther away. He noted that it was at the most 4 feet wide and at the least a foot, considering the size changes every step of the way, and that it curved with the wall. He started up the steep climb without hesitation. Though he wasn't worried, let alone scared, he was a bit wary about to drop rather than the ledge. It would be a shame to die before the Sport had officially begun. Luk's dead and shattered body would be the laughing stock of the universe, let alone his sister. His sister watches BloodSport, right? Maybe she's watching him right now. Does she recognize him? Is she cheering him on, or maybe spitting at him in disgust? Is she even alive?

He shook his head and realized he had his eyes closed. Once he opened them, his senses came back and felt a cool misty burn settle on his skin. He blinked and looked at the steam that slowly wisped from his exposed skin and the parts that soaked through his clothes. He looked up to realize once again that he was near the edge of the waterfall, around 13 yards. Ignoring the misty sting, he continued on and found himself on the ledge where the waterfall fell. A smile spread across Luk's face as he looked down the neon lit tunnel that most likely led to the surface and, possibly, his death or freedom.
