Television- Prologue (An IZ Story)

“Gir! Here, now!”, Zim called out, waiting for his little robot he received before leaving his home to conquer a little unknown planet. That little robot appeared before him with a small metallic hand to his forehead and his tongue sticking out.

“Gir, I have discovered that there is different dimensions other than our own.” Zim turned to the TV screen that lay before them in their own living room. “And I was also able to display those dimensions without going through them through television.”, Said him, with almost disgust. Gir looked at it with awe and gave out a long ‘ooooo’ and sat down on the couch that sat in front of the TV. “TURN IT ON TURN IT ON,” Said Gir excitedly, bouncing up and down. Zim let out an impatient huff, plopping on the couch and grabbed the remote that rested on the armrest.

With a touch of a button, the room filled with white noise and flickering motion of static filled the screen. The static retreated to a clear picture, the white noise rushing away as screams and loud sounds that seemed similar to gunpowder filled the room instead.

The picture formed into the face of a Doberman Pincher, drool ran down his upturned lips, showing off stained teeth and a stained muzzle. His eyes were red and a deep-throated rumble came from the dog’s throat, his nose puffing out hot steam as its eyes glowed a defining red. Its skin was green and black and loose, but the muscle underneath still threatened to rip the fabric-like skin. The Doberman trotted towards the two sitting on the couch, the screen and possibility protecting them from the increasing growls of the pup.

It moved slowly, the metallic metal underneath it’s skin moving with loud protesting screeches. The scene around him burned. He threw his head back and howled, long and heard at the moon. Its head snapped back down to fix it’s eyes at his viewers, and a human smile spread across its mug to show off inhuman teeth. It took a step forward and then stopped looking down at something, as though it was pinning down someone. Its smile grew louder as it sat down, his muscle being heard as they worked to lower his haunches.

Pain and pleasure are two, oh so very, different things. While alone it’s can be very boring, but put together it’s so…”, it took a sigh as it closed its eyes. “Satisfying.”



Zim and Gir looked at each other with confused looks, and Zim quickly pressed the rewind button, until the real life ‘movie’ turned to 00:00. He then pressed play.
